Auckland Transport are proposing to make changes to the bus stops around 75 Hinemoa Street, Birkenhead.

The proposal includes:

  • New bus stop outside 75 Hinemoa Street, with new bus stop road markings, ‘No Stopping’ broken yellow lines, tactile pavers and edge line.
  • Upgrade existing bus stop outside 58-60 Hinemoa Street, with new bus stop road markings, ‘No Stopping’ broken yellow lines, tactile pavers and edge line.
  • New pedestrian refuge crossing outside 79 Hinemoa Street, with the installation of side islands, refuge islands, tactile pavers, edge lines and flush median road markings.
  • Removal of 14 on-street parking spaces on Hinemoa Street.
