Depending on how the weather goes, work will be progressing soon on:
- Upgrading sportsfield 3 at Kaipatiki Park from a dirt field to a sandcarpet field and installing irrigation, and
- Renewing the sportsfield 1 sandcarpet at Birkenhead War Memorial Park and improving the drainage and irrigation.
Work on both fields is due to be completed by the end of March.
