Vehicle gates have been installed at the carpark entrances at Little Shoal Bay Reserve.
The gates will now be closed to vehicles:

• Summer (1 Oct – 31 Mar): 9pm-7am
• Winter (1 Apr-30 Sept): 7pm-7am
  

The bowling club, scouts and boatyard groups will each have after-hours access, if required.
The Kaipatiki Local Board requested the gates after numerous after-hours noise and safety concerns were raised, as well as illegal freedom-camping.
