The beautiful and hidden Kendall Bay beach – part of Kauri Point Centennial Park and accessible from several entrances on Onetaunga Road or via Chelsea Estate Heritage Park.
At low tide, you can walk around the rock pools to a second smaller beach.
Or follow the boardwalk behind the beach to a rugged track up to the lookout for a view of the harbour and city.
