Work is now underway to dig up and reseal the portion of Birkdale Road between Eskdale Road and Flaxdale Street with asphalt.

The work is scheduled to take place for three days from 7am to 6pm, depending on weather.
Stop/Go operations will be in place for the duration of the works. No-parking restrictions are in place from 7am to 6pm.
Road resurfacing work involves removing the existing surface layer, applying a sealing coat, a new asphalt surface layer and line marking to the finished road surface.
