The Glenfield Pool and Leisure Centre pools are on schedule to re-open from Tuesday next week after a range of necessary maintenance and safety improvements have been completed.
Work included adding 9000 bolts to the ceiling tiles (which required the pools to be drained for equipment to be brought in), and concrete and steelwork.
Thanks to the project management team for allowing Danielle Grant and I to have a quick nosy at progress.
