The North Shore Times has an article today on Shore Action’s chip seal petition. Some interesting comments from Auckland Transport saying that the chips are only spread when vehicles drive too fast, and that chip seal is only used on roads where people do not walk or cycle! Unbelievable!

Auckland Transport is woefully out of touch on this serious issue and needs to read the hundreds of comments from people who have signed our petition.
