Please have your say on Council’s 10-year plan, including rates levels, infrastructure budgets, council services, impact of COVID-19, climate change, and other issues: akhaveyoursay.nz/recoverybudget

As part of this, the Kaipatiki Local Board is asking whether you would support an additional local rate to fund one or more of the following local projects that otherwise may take many years to achieve:

  • Addressing flooding and seawater inundation at Little Shoal Bay,
  • Multi-sport facility and improved aquatic play space at Birkenhead War Memorial Park,
  • Commuter and recreational walking and cycling links, such as shared paths, bush tracks, and connections to the Northern Pathway.

If there is support for a local rate, then we will go back out to consultation with more details.

Submissions close 22 March.
