A hot day at Onepoto Domain today! I’d received a few complaints about the lack of shade over play areas so I visited today and found hot playgrounds and seats in direct sun. We definitely need shade over the playground and better located or shaded seating. 🌞🌳⛱

Meanwhile, shadesail poles are due to be installed soon at the Birkenhead War Memorial Park and Rewi Alley Reserve playgrounds as we continue our programme of shading playgrounds.
