Work is scheduled to begin today on renewing the carpark at Sulphur Beach Reserve, Northcote Point, and will continue until the end of November.
The work will be staged to retain access to the boat ramp where possible, however there will be a portion of time when the site is completely closed to the public. Affected parties should have already been contacted.
The project includes re-levelling and re-surfacing of the carpark, and the installation of new wheel stops, timber barriers and rubbish bins.
The Council PDF information sheet on Sulpher Beach Road states the following:
Operation: The gate will operate on a combination padlock system. The gate will be locked on
5.30 a.m. to 10.p.m. Summer
5.30a.m. to 9 p.m. Winter
So it’s shut all day and opens at night???
Obviously it’s a f**k up on some fools part.
Closed all day znd open at night.
Can the information sheet be updated to reflect the correct A.M. / P.M. times please.
