Congratulations to all of the winners of the Birkenhead Photo Competition! I was pleased to attend the awards ceremony on Sunday on behalf of the Kaipatiki Local Board. Some outstanding images this year and a big crowd! Thankyou to the Birkenhead Residents Association Inc for organising this annual event.
The overall winners were:
- Overall Youth Award: Giselle Armstrong for “Another point of view”
- Overall Adult Award: Jay Hunter for “A Saturday favourite lunch at Al La Turca Birkenhead”
- People’s Choice Award: Henry Moore for “View from the wharf”.
