Fantastic for Birkenhead – the new Rawene Rd carpark is due to open in October.
Work will then move to restoring the Rawene Reserve bush area that was heavily impacted by the slip. Danielle Grant and I will be addressing the Council Finance Committee on Tuesday regarding a proposal to acquire land to restore the bush, stream and possibly a new walking track!
