Introducing Shore Action candidate and current member of the Kaipātiki Local Board, Adrian Tyler!
“Kia ora! I’m a local primary teacher who has, since 2016, also been privileged to serve you as a member of Shore Action on Kaipātiki’s Local Board. The Shore Action difference is that we aren’t afraid to challenge council to get the best outcomes for our community. We are the team who have ensured that upkeep and upgrades of our parks, playgrounds and tracks have been moved into high-gear. By working to keep our community at the forefront of council thinking we have saved Frank Larking’s Playboat (with savings!), rolled out Sun-Smart Playgrounds, resourced placemaking groups, championed the needs of all commuters with Auckland Transport and more. We have achieved a ground breaking level of commitment, support and partnership for our ecological and community organisations whilst continuing to enhance Kaipātiki with support and recreational services for young and old. Help us continue our work. Vote Adrian Tyler, vote Shore Action!”
Shore Action is standing 6 strong members for the Kaipātiki Local Board and we’ll be profiling them here. Stay tuned to meet the rest of our team.
