The Shepherds Park playground shade sails are coming! The playground is currently closed while the contractor is installing the wooden poles. The playground will be open as much as possible while the pole foundations cure. The sails are due to be fitted in 3 to 6 weeks 🙂

Despite the rain today, we know that these slides get red hot in Summer.
These shade sails will consist of two sets of “full coverage” sails, similar to those that we installed at Little Shoal Bay Reserve and Inwards Reserve, ensuring that the playground equipment is kept as cool as possible.
