Auckland Transport are proposing to install “no stopping at all times” lines (broken yellow lines) from the Park Hill Road intersection with Glenfield Road along to the driveway of 1 Park Hill Road. This will result in the loss of approximately 3 parking spaces.
These changes are proposed to improve accessibility for drivers by ensuring a two-way flow on Park Hill Road at the intersection.
Currently vehicles parked close to the intersection restrict access for cars pulling into and out of Park Hill Road and can cause the road to be reduced to one lane. As a result, vehicles have to back up when there are cars approaching from the opposite direction. This creates an unsafe environment as the intersection is often busy.

Feedback closes Monday 18 February.
