The main swimming pool at the Birkenhead Pool and Leisure Centre has been temporarily closed due to a significant water leak. It is potentially an underground pipe issue and is currently being investigated. If it is a quick fix then the pool will only be closed for a couple of days, however If it is a leakage in the main pool, this will be a considerable challenge and it may require closure for a few weeks. Please note that swimming lessons will continue in the learner pool.
