The track from the Brunton Place entrance is currently closed while a boardwalk is built to protect kauri roots and improve access. This piece of work follows on from the recently completed Lauderdale Reserve bridge.
I’ve been advocating for many years for the tracks throughout this park to brought up to a usable condition. Next Wednesday the Kaipatiki Local Board will be considering funding for the next tranche of track improvements as part of the 2018/19 renewals work programme
