More bus stop changes proposed for Glenfield (please see my earlier post for other bus stop changes):

Auckland Transport is proposing to construct relocate, realign and construct new bus stops across a range of locations for the purpose of implementing the New Network for North Shore. This includes new bus stops on Kaipatiki Road to support the new service between Beach Haven and Glenfield 🙂

Below is a summary of the changes:
* 15 Bentley Ave, Glenfield – Bus stop realigned and upgraded.
* 93 & 95 Coronation Road, Glenfield – Relocation of bus stop from 95 to 93 Coronation Road. New bus stop platform, tree removal and pruning, removal of 7 car parking spaces
* 102 & 104 Coronation Road, Glenfield – Relocation of bus stop from 102 to 104 Coronation Road. New bus stop platform, new kerb and channel, tree removal and pruning, removal of 7 car parking spaces.
* 97 & 102 Coronation Road, Glenfield – New pedestrian refuge crossing.
* 33 Archers Road, Glenfield – New bus stop and shelter.
* 58 Archers Road, Glenfield – New bus stop and shelter.
* 41 & 56 Archers Road, Glenfield – New pedestrian refuge crossing.
* 81 & 83 Archers Road, Glenfield – Bus stop realigned and upgraded.
* 86 Archers Road, Glenfield – Bus stop realigned and upgraded, removal of 3 car parking spaces.
* McFetridge Park, Archers Road, Glenfield – Bus stop upgraded, removal of 8 car parking spaces.
* Marlborough Park, Archers Road, Glenfield – Bus stop realigned and upgraded, removal of 6 car parking spaces.
* McFetridge Park & Archers Road, Glenfield – New pedestrian refuge crossing.

The proposal includes changes to the road on which the bus stops will be located such as the removal of on-street parking to accommodate for the new and/or relocated bus stops, the installation of No Stopping At All Times (NSAAT) parking restrictions to provide unobstructed manoeuvring for buses and new pedestrian island crossing facilities at some location.

Auckland Transport are only accepting feedback on the following:
* Any land development proposals or issues that may affect the proposed bus stop location and infrastructure,
* Any safety issues with the proposed bus stop location and infrastructure.
