Great to see the spelling of the Elliott Avenue street signs has now been corrected.
The road was named after James Elliott (with two “T”s), from the Elliott family who owned the land from 1899 until the 1950s when it was subdivided. James St, Winifred Ave and Kathleen St are also named after the family.
