Unfortunately a case of Kauri Dieback disease may have been discovered in our area. Samples have been taken for testing. In the meantime, as a precautionary measure, the Chelsea Estate Heritage Park track from Blundell Place, Chatswood (off Porritt Ave) has been closed.
It will be devastating to the many kauri in our bush reserves if it proves to be kauri dieback, so fingers crossed…
