The Auckland Harbour Bridge Vector Lights will shine on Wednesday 25 April to commemorate Anzac Day with a stunning light and sound show. The first show is from 5am until 6:30am (coinciding with dawn services), and it will run again from 6pm until midnight. There will be a minute’s silence in between each 3.5 minute show.
The Vector Lights animation references a journey across water – of a civilian travelling to war and back again. Look for nods to the Maori Battalion, the Southern Cross, the silver fern and, of course, a field of poppies in the wind
