I’m very happy that yesterday the Kaipatiki Local Board approved the concept design and funding for the rebuild of the Kaipātiki Project Environment Centre building at 17 Lauderdale Road 🙂

The new Green Building will replace the existing leaking building in the same location in Lauderdale Reserve, adjacent to the nursery.
The design is the culmination of a huge amount of work by a steering group that the Local Board established in 2017, that included the Kaipātiki Project manager and staff, architects, iwi representative and council staff.
I’m looking forward to the opening already!
